The program ‘Start and Enhance Business (SIYB)’ is a training program for small business owners. This program is executed under the cooperation between the International Labor organization (ILO) and the Chamber of Commerce Industry of Vietnam (VCCI), in addition to the support from Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). It has been implemented since 1998. Many students after attending the courses and programs by the Club Entrepreneur SIYB have made significant contribution to the development of companies and social poverty reduction.

SIYB CORE VALUE:

At the Business Club SIYB HCM, activities are based on the main functions as follows:

Main activities

Management

-   Setting the Executive Board is capable, dynamic, enthusiastic club activities

-   Professionalization activities to provide information and assistance to member businesses quickly and in time

Training

-   Periodic: 2 months

-   combined business consultant

-   Share experiences, solve problems that businesses have difficulty

-   Expanding the scope of foreign participation in the Club Members

Exchange - Trade Promotion

-   Enhancing exchanges with trade associations, club

-   Organizing trade promotion activities abroad

-   Exhibitions and fairs in the direction of the general store

Member development

-   Include irregular members in provincial areas and exchange information via Email, Fax ...

Information

-   Set up web content regularly updated to provide useful information and mobilize funding from members of the Club

-   Bring business information over the network to extend trade promotion

Community activities

-   Establishment of start-up funds

-   Combined with VCCI and Viet Book implementation of "Starting a Business Story"

-   Mobilize their members to participate in charity

-   Regular organization of business groups, including workshops, field trips combine trade promotion
